“When my daughter was first diagnosed with mono (mononucleosis) we took her to the infectious disease doctor. She went there for a year and nothing changed. “I had not been feeling for quite a long time, and a regular blood test by my family doctor did not pick up a thyroid problem. I have been a patient of Dr. Kellman for more than 10 years, and still I am surprised at his ability to resolve so many “irresolvable” health issues, and by the way, I feel better leaving his office than when I came in. Simply being in the presence of this compassionate physician is healing.
This is an office without the white coats and without the pretension, where kindness and respect, on the part of the Dr. and his staff, play a role in the process of getting well.
In 1998, I was referred to Dr. Kellman by another holistic professional for treatment for a stubborn thyroid disorder. Now, I can tell you that there is not another physician in New York whom I would trust o treat my thyroid and adrenal issues. He has worked wonders with gut issues –related to the above–and with a host of other medical problems.
Dr. Kellman sees health and healing from a different perspective than others –even those with a holistic orientation. Recently, while reading Dr. Kellman’s book “Matrix Healing” one phrase in particular caught my attention. To paraphrase, he says “On some level, you are already healed.” This explained so much to me of what I had observed–his faith and confidence that the body can heal, his endless optimism and the source from which he is able to search and develop innovative methods to cure what ails us.
There’s so much I can say about Dr. Kellman and it’s all good.
